Come out to cheer on the 2016 Blondes vs. BrunettesĀ® flag football game to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter. The game, based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes, aims to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease among a new generation and is free to the public. More than 100 players, coaches, cheerleaders and volunteers will participate in game day activities, with an estimated 1,000 anticipated spectators.
Funds raised will benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Blondes vs. Brunettes was a volunteer event driven by young women in Washington D.C. in 2005, and since has expanded to more than 35 cities and raised more than $5 million.
