Emory University Symphony Orchestra with Matt Haimovitz, cello, and Tim Fain, violin

The Emory University Symphony Orchestra opens its season with renowned soloists Matt Haimovitz, cello, and Timothy Fain, violin, appearing as Schwartz Artists-in-Residence in a performance of Philip Glass’ Double Concerto.  Director of Orchestral Studies and Edward Goodwin Scruggs Conducting Chair Dr. Richard Prior leads the orchestra in this Family Weekend program that also features Beethoven’s immortal Fifth Symphony.

This event is free, but tickets are required.
