Emory Wind Ensemble: American Perspectives

Traffic Advisory: N. Decatur Road will be closed between Lullwater Road and the Emory roundabout, and South Oxford Road will be closed between Clifton Road and The Emory roundabout from 3p.m. – 7 p.m. for the annual Open Streets event in Emory Village. Both roundabouts will remain open for circulating traffic. Traffic traveling on North Decatur Road will be diverted on North Oxford Road to reconnect with North Decatur Road. Both DeKalb police and Emory police are assisting with traffic enforcement.

The Emory Wind Ensemble presents American music for winds from the last century including John Williams’ “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and Aaron Copland’s reflective Quiet City featuring two Atlanta Symphony soloists, Emory Artist Affiliate Emily Brebach, English horn, and Michael Tiscione, trumpet. Dr. Paul Bhasin conducts.
