It’s that time again! Our 4th annual Deon Lewis Memorial HOPE Run at Shorty Howell Park in Duluth! The race honors our beloved Co-Founder Deon Lewis Sr. who meant so much to many people and offered HOPE to our community. His light shined bright and his favorite color was blue so this year everything will be neon blue for the #NeonDeonRun!
The #NeonDeonRun includes, a pre-race warm-up, face painting, live performances, balloon artistry, food, an awesome DJ and much more! We’ve had a blast the last three years! Runners of all skill levels are encouraged to register, bring family and friends to join the fun!
All proceeds from the event go directly to fund programs for H.O.P.E., Inc. (Helping Other People be Empowered) – a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving single parents and their families working to obtain a college degree and break the cycle of poverty by providing assistance with subsidized housing, child care, social services and essential life skills.
