A Trek to the River’s Edge

Come see this screening of A Trek to the River’s Edge, a documentary film produced by Althea Brown. The film focuses on students of the Atlanta University Center who organized to change Atlanta in the 1960s. The students (represented by an unacknowledged cast of people) organized, strategized, sat-in, protested and went to jail again and again for the right to live in the City of Atlanta with the full privileges of citizens of the United States.

This is a Humanity in Action: John Lewis Fellowship Program. The public is invited to join us for this special documentary screening.
