The Safrai Fine Art Gallery started in 1935, even before the state of Israel was born! Menachem Safrai, owner of the gallery, has brought works of art by Israeli artists to museums and private collections throughout the world. They represent such recognizable artists as Agam, Ben Avram, Chagall, Ebgi, Shemi, Weil and newer, up-and-coming Israeli artists. Menachem Safrai is joining our community during the gallery showing, and he is bringing over 1000 pieces of art.
• 5/18 community-wide, gallery opening with food and music
• 5/19 Educational event hosting a speaker about the art of Israel
• 5/20 an evening of sweets, music and art
• 5/21 families with children creating their own “Israeli” art
