About “American Teen”

Behind The Movement: “American Teen” . . . an amazing show filled with dance, art, and passion to support Mission for Movement, Inc.

Renowned choreographer and artistic director Jeremy Green created this production to engage the audience through enlightening, exciting and entertaining performances.  Come and explore the mind of the American teenager, who are our next generation of entertainers, doctors, lawyers and more. Teens have a voice that must to be heard.

In this show we will learn about their views, their struggles and will hear their voice.  This show highlights the benefits of youth self-expression through dance and performing arts as a platform for communities abroad. Join us as we take this journey to see what’s “behind their movement”.

About “Mission for Movement”

Mission for Movement is a non-profit organization helping to support our youth in the field of performing arts.  Our mission is to ensure that tomorrow’s performing arts leaders have free reign of self-expression in pursuit of their passions in life by breaking down barriers such as financial status, limited access to resources, race, religion, gender and background.  By sharing in our mission, you can help make a change for the better.

Mission for Movement intends to allocate proceeds and donations from the Behind the Movement: “American Teen” production to help support select youth currently enrolled in the Dance 411 Company in their pursuit of dance education.
