Feed Your Senses: Frankie Quinones

Frankie is an independent Atlanta, GA based Latin and World Percussionist with a passion for playing all styles of music. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY he has been playing drums and hand percussion since the age of four years old. In 1999 Frankie  was accepted and entered on scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied drum set and percussion with Giovanni Hidalgo, Eguie Castrillo, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Francisco Mela, Ernesto Diaz, Kenwood Dennard and Victor Mendoza. Francisco completed his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music at SUNY Empire State College. In December 2008 Francisco completed his Masters Degree in International Business from D’Youville College with focus on expanding Globalization through the utilization of music to gain an improved understanding of cultures for the purpose encouraging international commerce and trade.
