The creators behind the hugely successful events, Atlanta Grilled Cheese Fest and Atlanta Field Day are excited to unveil their newest endeavor, The Great Southern Beer Fest. This Beer Festival Series makes its first pit stop in Atlanta on April 28th at John Howell Park from 1:00-5:00pm, celebrating all the creative, unpredictable, hop heavy and heady craft beers emerging from this side of the Mason-Dixie line.
With the South truly emerging as the next craft beer frontier, the Great Southern Beer Festival combines craft beer, country rock, and Southern food with a dash of soul. The best of the best Southern breweries will be onsite pouring samples of their favorite craft brews.
Local party band Outshine will be on the main stage keeping people dancing to Southern Rock hits while attendees “drink their way through the South”, browse local vendors, participate in the “Best IPA in the South” People’s Choice competition and enjoy the Southern selection of food truck favorites.
The Pup Truck will be on-sight dishing out fare like the PBR Pup Hotdog- bacon, jam, pimento cheese and pickled red onions, while the Low-Co Motion truck will be enticing festival goers with food like the Hot Mess Sandwich- local brisket, dry-rubbed, braised in bourbon-brown sugar piled onto French bread with homemade pimento cheese.
VIP tickets are extremely limited and offer 1-hour early access to the festival, private restrooms, and a chance to try uncommon and hard to find beers in the VIP beer garden. This ticket is truly the way to go for the hop-head wanting a true VIP festival experience. The first 100 tickets are available for $50, then increasing to $70.
Tickets are already on sale, and the first 300 General Admission attendees are treated to an early bird discount for $25. Ticket prices for General Admission after the first 300 sold are $40.
Tickets to this event are expected sell out and advanced purchase is recommended. To purchase tickets, visit https://www.greatsouthernbeerfest.com/, or follow us on Facebook for frequent news and updates.
