At ChopArt, we passionately believe home is where the heart is, and that heart is illuminated by the experiences and memories we make and the people we share them with. Home is obviously so much more than four walls, but so often we forget how the items decorating our homes also decorate our hearts, holding immense sentimental value and importance to us. Our youth’s latest art installation serves as a stark reminder of just how important the concept of “home”, the thing we so often take for granted, truly is.
Come join us as we celebrate the art our youth have created using everyday items that decorate our homes for a time, and forever decorate our memories.
Artwork will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to the youth, and refreshments and donation-based bar will also be available.
Presenting shelters: Families First, Nicholas House, My Sister’s House, Rainbow House, and The Drake House.
If you can’t make it, please consider a donation. All proceeds directly benefit the children in our participating shelters. We also need volunteers for the two-week, arts-intesive annual summer camp, Camp Envision, which is July 8-16. Interested in learning more and/or volunteering? Click here.
