Higher Learning

Tearing through space and time in a rickety Moog-powered spaceship, Higher Learning is well on their way towards the outer reaches of Jupiter. Armed only with the spirit of exploration and an oversized container of party favors, the four psychonauts from the streets of Atlanta, GA gaze through the haze of the cockpit out into the little-known expanse of our fine universe. Their mission, daunting as it may be, is simple at its core: to distill the cosmos into sound. Their natural abilities to endure long periods of isolation and odd sleep schedules have enabled them to strive towards this goal with unbridled tenacity. From their collectively-twisted mind comes a sonic stew composed of liberal portions of analogue and digital frequencies – grounded for your pleasure by the familiar sounds of a live four-piece band. HL cordially invites you to join them on their interstellar adventures forward into the great wide yonder. Planets will turn, stars will die, and new stars will be born. Only one thing is for sure – you will want to hear it all.

Space Kadet

Space Kadet is a culmination of musician friends Rohan Prakash (drums and samples), Alex Etheridge (Bass and Synths), Kyle Gissendaner (Guitar/samples) and Phil Ordonez (Percussion). Space Kadet explores many genres on the electronic instrumental spectrum with a deep emphasis on creating a spacy funky vibe. The band caters to any variety of music lovers ranging from down tempo abstract dubs, drum and bass, deep dub, electro jazz, high energy funk and more. Recently the band has shared the stage with praised acts such as Zoogma, Sunsquabi, The Werks, Govinda, Higher Learning, Modern Measure, Stratosphere all stars as well as playing acclaimed festivals such as Purple Hatters Ball and Zen Awakening. Space Kadet came together to form an always changing, never ending, space odyssey.

Andy Bruh

Bass without boundaries. Dub, glitch-hop, DnB, and hip-hop breaks are just a few of the sounds you’ll hear in an Andy Bruh set. If it beats, it plays. The Atlanta born producer and DJ captures the soul of his city while pushing into unknown sonic territory with full control. Steeped in the history of Southern hip-hop, Andy Bruh builds on it’s melodic backbone and brings the full force of the electronic bass wave to create an energy unrivaled by many in the scene.

Robbie Dude

With years of work behind the decks live mixing for all kinds of crowds, Robbie Dude takes you on a journey through musical time and space in which genre has no reign. From old school hip-hop mash-ups with new age soul beats, to classic rock hits underlined with bass heavy bangers, Robbie Dude has the vibes to get the party started and take it all the way to the break of dawn.

Building on his foundation as a DJ, Robbie Dude’s debut EP “Finding My Way” takes his live performance style and molds it into original production all his own. Pulling inspiration from modern Motown, Hip-hop, and producers such as Pretty Lights and Michael Menert, the Dude brings a futuristic, funky electro sound to the mix. His love for every genre results in an original sound and a live show that will thrill every crowd.
