Kirkwood Bird Stroll

Discover more about the birds of Kirkwood by participating in a leisurely Sunday morning stroll around the neighborhood’s parks and tree-lined streets. The stroll will last about two hours and cover 1- 2 miles of gentle terrain. All levels of birders are welcome, and this is a great way to meet people who share your interest in birds and nature. Please bring your own binoculars and wear comfortable shoes.

Birding focus: We’ll be looking for summer and permanent residents and will likely identify from 20-40 different species of birds during our stroll. A checklist of the birds identified during our stroll will be provided to participants who request it. If it’s raining the morning of this event, we will cancel.

Meet in the parking lot of Kirkwood Public Library (across the street from Urban Pie) at 8:30 and walk from there. Afterwards, join the Kirkwood Spring Fling Tour of Homes.
