Join us to learn the history and basic principles of cheese making! Follow along as one of CalyRoad’s cheese makers takes you into the world of cheese! Take a tour of the creamery & learn how one ingredient, milk, can create so many cheeses with diverse flavors. We will teach you how to make a brine aged cheese, Mediterranean style Feta, which incorporates many of the skills that apply to making other cheeses. Leave the class with 1/2-1 lb of Feta & the knowledge to re-create the same cheese in your own home. Of course, we’ll also partake of a cheese feast while we are crafting cheese….because there’s always time to eat cheese!!
