Neighborhood Jazz Series

 

WHAT:

The Neighborhood Jazz Series, which is a part of The Atlanta Jazz Festival 31 Days of Jazz celebration, takes place at various City of Atlanta parks every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of May leading up to the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.

 

Each concert is hosted by a different City of Atlanta Councilmember and is family-friendly and FREE to the public.

 

This event is being presented by Council President Felicia Moore and Councilmember Andre Dickens on Sunday, May 6 at West Manor Park from 4 – 8 p.m., with performances by Gritz and Jelly Butter and Wolfpack ATL.

 

WHO:

Performing artists include:

Gritz and Jelly Butter, a trio of musicians and vocalists serving a soulful mix of R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Classic Rock vibes with an undeniable distinct flair.

 

Wolfpack ATL, voted “Best Local Jazz Band” and “Best Band to Blow the Roof of the Joint” by Creative Loafing Atlanta is led by Grammy award-winning Kebbi Williams.
