OUMA Presents: Hispaniola Music Celebration and Exhibition Reception

We are kicking off the fall celebration of Haiti and the Dominican Republic with the Hispaniola Music Celebration featuring the musical group Love Evolution with Semaj & Mr. Lorrius. They are united in love, life, creating family and in their purpose to musically motivate the world to move beyond destructive revolution to peaceful evolution. www.goodformemusic.com https://artistecard.com/LoveEvolution.  They will be performing September 30, 2017 form 7 pm- 9 pm.    Jordan Lorrius, who is Haitian American, is an ambassador of Arts for Peace an NGO which grew during the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Love Evolution is based in New Orleans & New York City.
This free event will be held in the Skylight Gallery of OUMA which is on the 3rd Floor of Lowry Hall. It is part of the campus-wide celebration, Hispaniola: A Celebration of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The exhibition Hispaniola is on view in OUMA from September 30 through December 17, 2017.
