PADV Hosts Second Annual Executives in Action Luncheon

For the second year, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), Georgia’s first, largest and most experienced nonprofit working to end domestic violence, is hosting an annual “Executive in Action” luncheon, presented by Genuine Parts on November 9, 2018 at Ansley Golf Club.

The luncheon, originally created in 2017 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the organization’s inception, aims to educate leaders across Atlanta on the dangers of intimate partner violence. This year’s event focuses on raising funds in support of the Fulton County Shelter and will deliver valuable insight on how domestic violence affects employees and their ability to maintain high levels of productivity. Guests will have the opportunity to hear a powerful testimony and keynote address from guest speakers while networking among Atlanta’s top leaders.

For more information and to register for the luncheon, visit www.padv.org/events/executives-in-action/ or contact our Special Events Director at Nordene.Bartley@padv.org.

WHO:

The event will feature a testimony from Charlotte Starfire and the keynote speaker will be William Anderson, vice president of Global Corporate Security at Bank of America, who has 25 years of professional experience as a security professional.

Starfire serves as national team lead for Trade product sales covering U.S. based small and midsized clients for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She is a survivor of domestic violence and will share her story during the luncheon.

Anderson is a Certified Financial Crimes investigator, Certified Workplace Violence Prevention specialist and Certified Confidentiality officer and a member of ASIS International, Association of Former Intelligence Officer and Business Espionage Controls & Countermeasures Association.

PADV is an organization that has served metro Atlanta since 1977 and is currently the largest nonprofit domestic violence agency in Georgia. Its mission is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors. PADV helps to transform the lives of approximately 20,000 women and children every year through emergency intervention, education, violence prevention and long‐term advocacy.
