The longest running theatre company dedicated to Georgia playwrights, the Essential Theatre celebrates 19 years of our Play Festival this summer with something old and something new: Essential’s very first Playwriting Award winner, Lauren Gunderson, returns to the stage with Ada and the Memory Engine, premiering July 28, and West End raised playwright G. M. Lupo’s first full-length play, Another Mother, has its world premiere August 4.
