Back by popular demand, perennial Rialto favorites, The Capitol Steps, need no introduction. These equal opportunity offenders always deliver an evening of “unpresidented” musical political satire ripped right from the headlines, and for more than 35 years even politicians have been laughing at their jokes. Although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent more than 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and their own Politics Takes a Holiday nationwide specials on NPR. With a seemingly endless supply of inspiration coming their way, The Capitol Steps are always fresh and crispy!
