Vinings Jubilee Summer Concert Series featuring Lola “Atlanta’s Queen of Blues”

The second annual Summer Concert Series continues with Summer Blues in July featuring Lola “Atlanta’s Queen of Blues.” Starting her music career after college as a keyboard player with the late Johnnie Taylor, Lola learned the ins and outs of the music industry while touring across the country. In 1996, after winning a nationwide talent contest on BET, she was signed by Andre Harrell with a Motown recording contract. Lola returns to Tower Stage as a crowd favorite from last year bringing more original songs, high powered keyboards and her deeply soulful, rich and powerful voice. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The Saturday night festivities kick off at 4:00 pm and seats are limited so B.Y.O.C. (bring your own chair).
