Oglethorpe University Museum of Art is proud to be a Blue Star Museum for a fifth summer! Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day, May 29, 2017 through Labor Day, September 4, 2017.

Old Soldiers Day Race and Parade

This is a rain or shine event The Old Soldiers Day Parade began years ago as a tribute to veterans of the war between the states. The parade has become an annual celebration for veterans of all wars.
