Greed and corruption intertwine in this tense thriller from Eugene Lee. It’s 1955 and times are changing. The Klan is active in the piney woods of East Texas, and young black men have been disappearing and turning up dead. On this hot summer night, local men are gathered at Charlesetta’s Top o’ the Hill Cafe for comfort, solace, and companionship. They joke, feed the jukebox, and play cards until betrayal catches them. Reminiscent of the Twilight Zone, East Texas is a place where lives are changed forever!
