Save The Horses is teaming up with Brownwood Farms and Rolling Hills Saddle Club on Sunday, June 11th, at Wills Park Equestrian Center at 11915 Wills Road in Alpharetta Georgia for their first charity horse show.
Riders and horses of all ages and abilities are welcome. The event features both Hunter and Western disciplines. Spectator admission and parking is free. Food and vendors will be available.
The public is invited to join as a rider, spectator, sponsor or vendor for a fun day to help benefit the more than 130 rescued horses and other animals that are cared for by Save the Horses Rescue.
With no federal or state funding, Cumming GA based Save the Horses (a 501c3 non-profit) has to rely on donations to operate from corporations and individuals.
“It is important for us to raise the money to buy feed & hay and continue helping horses stay healthy and safe. With the economic instability over the past few years, donations have slowed down but the amount of horses needing help has increased tremendously. We are heartbroken to turn a needy horse down.” Says Cheryl Flanagan, the Founder of Save the Horses.
