Watercolor painter Kathy Kitz discusses her technique with paintings on Yupo paper. Ms. Kitz was introduced to Yupo paper 20 years ago, and it has become her favorite paper for painting with watercolors. Kathy Kitz uses many non-traditional tools to create watercolors on Yupo paper. Ms. Kitz is a signature members of GWS as well as past president of the society and a current board member. She is also a member of excellence with the South Carolina Watermedia Society and a board member of the Kudzu Art Zone.This lecture will be held in the OUMA which is on the 3rd floor of Lowry Hall, above the Philip Weltner Library. Free for OUMA Members or with a Petrel Pass. Free for Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Staff of OU. General admission: $5. The Georgia Watercolor Society National Exhibition is on view from March 17 through April 29, 2018
