Winning the Battles in Your Mind Returns to Cobb Galleria for the 6th Annual Black-Tie Gala Benefiting Children Living with Sickle Cell Anemia

ATLANTA, GA. (March 2018) – Winning the Battles in Your Mind, Inc. (WTB), is returning to the Cobb Galleria for its 6th Annual Black-Tie Gala to raise money and awareness for children battling and living with sickle cell anemia. The Annual Black-Tie Gala, Saving the Future One Tie at a Time will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Cobb Galleria, doors open at 6:00 p.m.

WTB was established by Life Coach, Aretha Cleveland in August 2008, after losing her father to colon cancer. The organization was founded to teach others how to discover their purpose and realize their dreams. WTB has dedicated the last four years to raising awareness of sickle cell anemia.  In the past, the Black-Tie Gala has helped raise more than $10,000 for Atlanta children battling the deadly disease. WTB’s efforts has provided the opportunity to purchase schools supplies and book bags each school year, parking passes for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as well as assist families in need with various monthly bills. The Black-Tie Gala is the largest annual kick-off fundraiser for the organization.

Saving the Future One Tie at a Time is hosted by Radio Personality Rhodell Lewis. Ticket holders will enjoy a three-course dinner, fashion show by Design Faze and featuring children who are either living with sickle cell anemia or who carry the trait, and special music performances.

“We are honored to be able to raise awareness and funds for the children who are suffering from this disease,” said Aretha Cleveland, Founder of Winning the Battles in Your Mind. “With this event, we are able to spread great awareness and raise much needed funds to assist Metro Atlanta families.”
