Some of the Souths favorite chefs are getting out of the kitchen and into the country for the 9th Annual Southern Chefs Potluck at Serenbe, a casual Sunday supper benefiting Wholesome Wave Georgia on Sunday, September 16. Come dine family-style with the chefs and their families on the pastoral grounds of the Inn at Serenbe. Each chef will contribute a side dish along with homemade pickles, relishes, and desserts to compliment a main dish to be shared.
Local beer, wine, and cocktails will also be served by renowned mixologists along with a live auction for one-of-a-kind culinary experiences with a guest auctioneer.
In addition to the delicious food provided at the potluck, Wholesome Wave Georgia will offer a VIP pre-party hosted by Steven Satterfield and Asha Gomez. The VIP kick-off party will be held at the Inn at Serenbe with live music, cocktails, and small appetizers.
This annual event aims to raise funds for Wholesome Wave Georgia and community awareness in support of the 1.6 million Georgians who are food-insecure and receive Federal Nutrition Assistance (FNA) benefits. Wholesome Wave Georgia aims to provide low-income and food-insecure families with access to fresh, wholesome and locally-grown food by matching their FNA benefits (i.e. SNAP/EBT or WIC) dollar-for-dollar at local farmers markets. Our mission puts more fresh food on the table for these families in need and provides more revenue for small business Georgia farmers.
