As a part of the Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival, the newly reopened Hotel Clermont presents a sneak peek inside Atlanta’s legendary Clermont Lounge, where there is a strict no cameras policy. Prior to the re-opening of the hotel, the stars of the lounge allowed Paris-based photographer Cyril Bailleul to capture them in their essence, resulting in an exhibition that is all about the ladies who make the lounge possible.
“Above Where the Ladies Dance, hosted by Hotel Clermont,” will showcase these exquisite photos throughout the Lobby Bar, galleries and library at the hotel, celebrating the dancers’ unique bodies: voluptuous, laughing, wrinkled and beautiful.
To celebrate the start of the exhibition, guests are invited to join Hotel Clermont and photographer Cyril Bailleul for a welcome reception on Monday, October 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets will grant guests first access to the gallery, as well as a complimentary beer or wine at the Lobby Bar upon arrival. Proceeds from all ticket sales will benefit the Poncey Highland Neighborhood Association, which gives so much to the neighborhood the hotel and the lounge call home.
