Rhythm-n-News is proud to host another installment of the Atlanta SuperJam. This event has become a monthly tradition in support of the local community of rich musical talent in the Atlanta area. The November edition of the Locals SuperJam is the day before Thanksgiving so we couldn’t think of a more appropriate theme than FAMILY. So with that in mind, come bring your family to meet our family at Rhythm-n-News and start off the holiday season with a night of improv fueled jams from some of Atlanta’s most talented artists.
We will also have a cash-only “family” discount. Groups of 4 pay admission for 3 and get 1 for free!!
The house band for this month’s event is listed below!
Thomas Hunter, guitarist since the age of 11, and a member of local bands: I.R.E. and Prism Collective, has a constantly evolving sound and improvisational style ranging from psychedelic rock and jamtronica, to funk and modern soul, with a variety of musical influences including Phish, Lotus, and the Disco Biscuits.
Kyle Denis is currently the bassist for Bird Dog Jubilee and Ego Aside. He has 12 years of playing experience and has recently picked up the banjo as well as mandolin. He also founded Funkadelic Threads which is focused on creating collaborations between ATL’s music and art community. #keepATLfunky
