Check out the future generation of dance talent when the dedicated young students of Ballethnic Dance Academy take to the stage at Atlanta’s Southwest Performing Arts Center for their annual spring open house performance, entitled Back to the Future. These talented youngsters, ages 3-21, show off their impressive creative versatility with inventive dances in styles ranging from ballet to tap, jazz to modern, and hip hop to African. The company was founded in 1990 by former Dance Theatre of Harlem and Atlanta Ballet members Nena Gilreath and Waverly T. Lucas II and is acclaimed for its annual Urban Nutcracker production.
