ATLANTA (June 7, 2018) – CareSource, Georgia’s first and only nonprofit organization serving the Medicaid market, is partnering with 16 Atlanta area companies and governmental agencies to host a career and development fair on Thursday, June 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event will take place at the Oak Hill Child, Family and Adolescent Center, located at 2805 Metropolitan Pkwy SW, Atlanta, GA 30315.

In addition to interviewing with companies to explore local employment opportunities, attendees can attend development workshops on job searching, resume writing and review, tips for a successful job interview, and more.

CareSource offers a Life Services program, which is unique to Georgia, and is based on a successful model that CareSource developed and perfected over the past 29 years. JobConnect, a part of the Life Services program, teaches marketable skills and offers job training to its members.

“CareSource is deeply committed to working with community partners to help Medicaid members remove obstacles to self-sustainability, and a big part of that is finding reliable employment,” said Bobby Jones, president of the Georgia Market for CareSource. “This event is one of many that CareSource is committed to hosting in partnership with public and private sector employers now and in the future.”
