Conservation Conversation

Curators, conservators, and students present recent installations of a Zulu beaded outfit in the Virginia Museum of Art and a Himba headpiece (ekori) in the Carlos Museum followed by a larger discussion of the ways in which conservation informs the study and display of African art in these two institutions.
