Since 2006, a group of Atlanta professionals and friends have hosted an annual Super Bowl celebration that has grown from the original house party to last year’s 800-guest extravaganza. This year, the De Fellas Super Bowl Partay with a Purpose pays homage to the game’s location in Minnesota with a purple theme and superstar music.
In addition to being a fun-filled event featuring two jumbo 16-by-20-ft. screens for great game watching, a DJ, special hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, as well as a VIP area with white leather lounges and bottle service, the Partay benefits National Medical Fellowships (NMF), a national nonprofit organization founded in 1946 to provide scholarships and support to medical and health professions students across all minority groups underrepresented in healthcare.
Designed by WM Events, the Partay kicks off with a pre-game happy hour and a décor decked out in references to Prince, including an installation of 50+ umbrellas above the dance floor, 6-ft. diamante tiered chandeliers representing rain and a little red Corvette. A costume contest encourages guests to dress in Prince-ly attire. The evening concludes with a post-game after party.
Sponsorship and luxury VIP packages are still available.
