Designing for 3D Printing: Spaceships – Grades 3-6

Our 3D printing classes provide an introduction to designing in three dimensions. Students will learn to use basic CAD software to manipulate shapes, symbols and texts to design a space ship and prepare the file to be printed.

Once the class is over, we’ll 3D print your ship and you can pick it up in a week or so.

You’ll learn:

how 3D printing works
how 3D printing is changing design processes and how it’s impacting our world
the fundamentals of a basic CAD program
how to prepare files created in a CAD program to be 3D printed
