Join the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Atlanta, the Alliance Française d’Atlanta and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta for our annual celebration of the signing of the Elysée Treaty.
This year, the program will focus on the shared love of arts and culture in both France and Germany, particularly opera. We’ll have live performances of pieces from both French and German operas along with a short commentary. Soloists from The Atlanta Opera and Capitol City Opera will perform arias from Bizet’s “Carmen,” Massenet’s “Manon,” Strauss’s “Ariadne auf Naxos,” and Wagner’s “Tannhäuser.”
