Serenbe founders Steve and Marie Nygren discovered the property now known as The Inn & Farmhouse at Serenbe on a weekend outing to introduce their children to the Georgia countryside in 1991. Weekend visits turned into a permanent move, which then evolved into the 1,000 acres that make up The Inn, The Farmhouse Restaurant and the Serenbe community.
