Core Dance will continue its 2017-18 season with choreographer D. Patton White’s beautiful and raw new piece, July 13, 2016: 4:10 PM. Inspired by the unexpected and untimely death of White’s brother, and the third movement of Ralph Vaughn Williams’ Symphony Number 5 in D Major, this work will engage audiences and challenge their views of memorial, memory and relationship. Parts of this unique performance are designed to be an interactive experience, and audience members will be invited to join the dancers as they create spaces for reflection and creativity. As the piece begins, the audience will shift into a more passive observing role. This work will run March 1-3, 2018 at 8:00pm at the Main Gallery @ The B Complex. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased online at coredance.org.
