Sankofa.org, the social justice organization founded by legendary actor, entertainer and humanitarian Harry Belafonte, is hosting Many Rivers To Cross – the largest, multi-generational music and arts festival dedicated to progressive social change—October 1-2 at Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills, GA—right outside of Atlanta.
Headliners include: Harry Belafonte, TIP, Carlos Santana, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Common, Estelle, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Wanda Sykes, Public Enemy, Alice Smith, Jesse Williams, Jussie Smollett, Macklemore, Danny Glover, Dr. Cornel West, Umi Selah, Sonia Sanchez, and many more.
Along with dynamic musical performances, the festival’s Social Justice Village will provide a crucial space for festival goers and artists to collaborate and use their platforms to amplify ideas and solutions to advance issues around social issues of the day.
