Elected as the first African American Mayor in “The City too Busy to Hate”, Maynard Jackson, Jr. became the Father of Affirmative Action and transformed the City of Atlanta into one of the most progressive cities in the south. After an evening screening of The AIB Network’s documentary film, Maynard Holbrook Jackson, Jr. Reflections on His Legacy, you are invited to participate in this community conversation on the value of civic leadership in today’s evolving social and cultural climate.
