MultiverseCon 2019: Celebrate Fantasy, Science-fiction, & Horror!

October 18th, 9am TO October 20th, 4pm

Multiverse is a 3-day fandom convention celebrating science fiction, fantasy, horror, and comics, held annually in Atlanta, Georgia. Multiverse features more than 70 industry guests over a jam-packed weekend of fascinating panels, tabletop gaming, shopping, cosplay, art, and parties, as well as charity events for RAICES (raicestexas.org) and a hospitality suite serving free food.

Of course, Multiverse is also a shared ideal, a community of enthusiasts, a fan family…it’s the perfect “geek party” where fans of all kinds can meet and share the stories and characters they love. JOIN US!

A FEW OF OUR GUESTS THIS YEAR:
* Seanan McGuire, a Hugo award-winning author and writer of Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider, X-Men Black: Mystique, and the Wayward Children series
* John Picacio, a Hugo award-winning artist who has created best-selling art for George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones as well as Star Trek and X-Men
* Cat Rambo, Nebula and World Fantasy award-nominated author and former president of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America
* Roshani Chokshi, New York Times bestselling author of The Star-Touched Queen, A Crown of Wishes, and The Gilded Wolves
* L.L. McKinney, the author of A Blade So Black and its sequel, A Dream So Dark, as well as creator of the hashtag #WhatWoCWritersHear

A FEW PANELS OF NOTE:
* BEYOND GENDER. This panel will discuss topics concerning trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people that writers can address in their science-fiction stories.
* THE VIRTUE OF VILLAINS. Who is your favorite villain? A member of the Forsaken? Ring Wraiths? Voldemort? Killmonger? Let’s talk about villains in fantasy!
* READING IN THE DARK. Come listen and shiver with us as four horror authors read selections from their latest work…at night! Each session will be followed by a Q&A.
