WHAT:
The Neighborhood Jazz Series, which is a part of The Atlanta Jazz Festival 31 Days of Jazz celebration, takes place at various City of Atlanta parks every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of May leading up to the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.
Each concert is hosted by a different City of Atlanta Councilmember and is family-friendly and FREE to the public.
This event is being presented by Councilmember Andrea L. Boone on Saturday, May 19 at Wilson Mill Park from 4 – 8 p.m., with performances by Groove Centric and Julie Dexter.

Performing artists include:
Groove Centric, started in 2008 embodies jazz, neo-soul, R&B, blues, pop and funk to bring an eclectic blend of smooth sounds.
Julie Dexter, world-renowned singer and songwriter combines elements of jazz, soul and electronica with a strong island influence.
