WHAT:
The Neighborhood Jazz Series, which is a part of The Atlanta Jazz Festival 31 Days of Jazz celebration, takes place at various City of Atlanta parks every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of May leading up to the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival.
Each concert is hosted by a different City of Atlanta Councilmember and is family-friendly and FREE to the public.
This event is being presented by Councilmember Carla Smith on Sunday, May 20 at Grant Park from 4 – 8 p.m., with performances by Mabu’s Ark Band and The Milk Shake Quintet.

Performing artists include:
Mabu’s Ark Band, an eclectic musical group that performs soul, jazz and reggae music.
The Milk Shake Quintet, led by Milkshake Mayfield is known for its distinctive smooth jazz and contemporary mix of bebop and funk.
