WHAT:
The Neighborhood Jazz Series, which is part of The Atlanta Jazz Festival’s 31 Days of Jazz celebration, takes place at various City of Atlanta parks on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month of May leading up to the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival on Memorial Day Weekend. Each concert is hosted by a different City of Atlanta Councilmember and is family-friendly and FREE to the public.
This Neighborhood Jazz Series event will be presented by Council President Felicia Moore and Councilmember Andre Dickens on Sunday, May 19 at West Manor Park from 4 – 8 p.m.

Performing artists include:
Tony Hightower, a 2015 Grammy-nominee for Best Jazz Vocal Album and an experienced vocalist who bridges contemporary and purist forms of the jazz genre.
Myrna Clayton, who is known for her entertaining and uplifting performances that showcase her extensive resume of American musical styles, including pop, soul, gospel, R&B and more.
