OUMA in Retrospect: Celebrating 25 Years

Oglethorpe University Museum of Art celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer by exhibiting more than 100 works from its permanent collection.

Included are numerous works acquired by founding director Lloyd Nick, which illustrate the permanent collection’s long-standing strength in the areas of 19th century French art, as well as works of art from the Far East. More recent acquisitions illustrate the museum’s developing strength in the field of nineteenth and twentieth-century American art.
