Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), Georgia’s first, largest and most experienced nonprofit working to end domestic violence, is partnering with Hilton Atlanta to host its second Men’s Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel at Perimeter.
PADV’s Men’s Leadership Breakfast Series is a program created to encourage more men to be involved in the fight against domestic violence. The program was formed at the end of 2016 with the first breakfast taking place in March of 2017. In conjunction with Hilton Hotels, the breakfast series began after a valued Hilton Atlanta employee was shot and killed by her boyfriend while she was at work.
This is a four-part series of breakfasts, which will take place at different Hilton-owned properties throughout the metro Atlanta area. The events will create a platform for men to discuss the issues of domestic violence, as well as become more educated and informed on how intimate partner violence intersects with other areas of their lives.
The last two breakfasts will take place on September 21 and December 14 from 7:30 – 9 a.m. Locations will be announced closer to the event dates.
