PAWS Atlanta Hosts 8th Annual Party for the PAWS

It’s time to party to help our furry friends with wet noses and warm paws! Join PAWS Atlanta for their 8thAnnual Party for the PAWS on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 6:30pm – 10:30 pm. This year, Party for the PAWS will be held at Mason Fine Art, a gallery located in Atlanta’s Armour Junction displaying high quality contemporary works by regional, national, and international artists.

The night will feature delectable chow, cocktails, music, mingling, over very own doggie runway, and an incredible silent auction, where you can win everything from weekend getaways to chef dinners at Atlanta’s hottest restaurants.  This annual event raises critical funds to help care for the homeless pet population in the Atlanta area.

Proceeds from the event will benefit PAWS Atlanta, a nonprofit animal-welfare organization founded in 1966. Their mission is to build a community of caring, by people helping pets and pets helping people. PAWS Atlanta is the oldest and one of the very few no kill animal shelters in Georgia and have placed over 46,000 animals in permanent, loving homes. Their services include pet adoption services, low-cost vaccinations and health preventatives, spay/neuter services, pet dental services, summer camps, and a pet food bank. As one of the oldest and very few no-kill shelters in Georgia, homeless animals will get a second chance because PAWS Atlanta does not euthanize shelter residents based on time or space constraints. They ensure that each and every animal has the tender loving care, proper nutrition, medical expertise, and 24-hour support they need until they are adopted, no matter how long it takes.
