PlumpJack Winery bears the name of one of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters: the fun-loving, down-to-earth Sir John “PlumpJack” Falstaff. The cheerful PlumpJack was known to tip “more than a few” goblets with Prince Henry V, and Ray’s at Killer Creek is offering up the chance to share some goblets of your own at the PlumpJack Wine Dinner on Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy executive chef Mike Fuller’s multi-course menu including lobster biscuits, ripe pear with cave-aged bleu cheese, shaved ham and lavender butter, lemongrass-seared bay scallops, grilled Alaskan king crab, spring lamb kibbeh, prime, dry-aged strip with vanilla bean demi, foie gras tarte with blueberry compote and raspberry, peach and pepper crème brûlée with caramelized bacon paired with exquisite wines from PlumpJack, CADE and Odette wineries. Save the date to join Ray’s at Killer Creek for an unforgettable evening. Cost is $150 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Space is limited and credit card-held reservations are required.
