Sam Burchfield returns to Atlanta with the full band, featuring the Terminus Horns and special guest Caleb Hawley – don’t miss the good times!
TIX: $10 in advance
With an honest voice, a band of buddies, and a fancy hat; Sam Burchfield has managed to make some moves at just 25 years old. His latest EP, Unarmored, digs a few layers deeper into a genre-crossing career that has only just started. From folk, to funk, to southern soul — Sam and his band capture it all on their sophomore release.
“…Burchfield’s music is soulful. That is the perfect word for it. It doesn’t just describe his genre – it describes the heart of the artist himself…”
-Emily McBride – VINYL MAG
Harlem’s Caleb Hawley is an American indie pop/R&B performer. Raised in Minneapolis, Hawley combines the current sounds of groups like The 1975 & The Neighbourhood with the Minneapolis sound of the 80’s that he grew up on, making him a diverse, magnetic package.
Raised by a family of preachers and therapists, Hawley grew up attending an a capella church, learning to sing from an early age, and migrating to music festivals every summer for family vacation. With the early influence of gospel harmony and folk lyrics combined with the Minneapolis roots and Harlem grit, Caleb Hawley’s sound is unique, distinctive and freshly familiar. Hawley unleashes his next full-length album September 2017.
