The 17th Annual Pink Affair fundraiser will benefit the community-based non-profit TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, Saturday, March 24th, from 6-11 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, 3300 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, 30305. TurningPoint’s mission is to improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients and survivors by providing, promoting, and advocating specialized and evidence-based rehabilitation. Funds raised will support TurningPoint’s delivery of reduced-fee and complimentary services, community education and health care provider education.
“We are gearing up for another successful event on all fronts and anticipate having more than 400 people in attendance with a goal to raise $400,000,” said Kathy Smith, a co-founder of the Pink Affair and TurningPoint’s event manager. “This is the first year we’ve held the Pink Affair in Buckhead, and we are excited about hosting it at such a conveniently located, first class hotel and facility like the Grand Hyatt.”
As in previous years, the evening will include a seated dinner, live and silent auctions, a raffle, open bar with wine and beer, and dancing to a variety of music from the festive live band “We Got the Beat.”
Best Self Atlanta magazine recently named the Pink Affair as the best charity gala/ball in its December 2017/January 2018 issue.
Dean Crownover returns to oversee both auctions, while media personality Dana Barrett, host of the “Dana Barrett Show” on The Biz 1190-AM, will emcee the program for the second consecutive year.
