Acclaimed playwright, author and community empowerment activist Trevi Pershay, also known as the “female Tyler Perry of the hood”, is thrilled to bring her newest production to Atlanta. THE DEFILED BED 2: The Awakening, a poignant drama about the pain of forgiveness, runs for one night only at Center Stage Theater, 1374 Peach Street NW, on Saturday, December 7.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Senator Joshua Brown thought he was god’s gift to women. A serial womanizer, one day he hurt the wrong femme fatale. In retribution, she took his life—and his most prized possession. It seems like Joshua’s luck has run out, but God is willing to give to give him a second chance—on one condition: he must ask forgiveness to all those who he has wronged. Laugh, cry, and let your heart break a little as you join him on his journey to confront his past misdeeds and face demons he thought he buried long ago in THE DEFILED BED 2: The Awakening.
