Call them meat-and-threes, cafeterias, mom-and-pops, or diners, the story of the South’s food and drink traditions would be incomplete without paying homage to these local spots. While these spots are mainstays in the South, many have seen a surge as brunch becomes the most delicious meal in America. The Designer Diner concept tells the story of brunch and the changing patterns in how Southerns eat, live and interact while also showcasing the South’s design aesthetic.
