The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival

The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival, now in its 23rd year, will feature two nights of exceptional dance from seven choreographers at the Balzer Theatre at Herren’s in downtown Atlanta. Saturday will feature the Pioneer of Atlanta Dance Award, presented to Bobby and, posthumously, Ginger Barnett. On the program – Gregory Catellier and Kristin O’Neal: “Nostalgia for a Future Past”, Alice Halter: “juncture”, Kamali Hill: “Exterminating Kings”, SWADanceCo: “Stand by”, Corian Ellisor: “What If”, Melissa Pihos: “The Wives”, an excerpt from “PIHOS – A Moving Biography”, and host company Full Radius Dance: “Unicorn”.
